BonCafe

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

BonCafe

Post by Duncan »

Now this is not a post to boast about my connoisseur tastes of coffee , cause as long as it looks brown like coffee, tastes like coffee and has lots of sweet condensed milk in it , I'll call it coffee and drink it. But for the last few months I have been unable to buy this instant coffee at the major supermarkets and today I stumbled on the new BonCafe shop at 306 Monivong Blvd. http://www.boncafe.com.kh and for those who want a coffee machine they have a few on display.

This is one of those areas where Thailand has Cambodia beat. I now have 3 espresso machines at home. Because it's cheaper for me to buy my coffee and get a free coffee machine than it is to buy the coffee on its' own. I have run out of sensible rooms to put coffee machines in now; the next one will need installing in the downstairs loo...

Perhaps I should have also said, it should also look like coffee, not the brown stuff in your loo . Don't invite me to your home for coffee.
