bogans

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Most have hardly left WA let alone the country and seem uncultured, uninterested in tge world outside of AFL football, meat pies, fishing abd VB.

I cant relate, im not looking down on them but im just way over cultured and worldly to hold a conversation with these perth bogans
They dont understand any other way.

Perth is two hours and twenty years behind the rest of Australia.

Perth is not the end of the world, but you can see it from there.

Ozzies are fine. It's just the people who come from Australia u gotta watch out for. No, seriously mate...If I was an Ozzie you wouldn't catch me in Krapot that's for sure. Only cultural snobs go there. Not that I'm green with envy or would give a warm beer or certain boat about it. 😂

It's actually not so bad in Perth today. A little chilly and some light drizzle with long periods of sunshine.
One can choose to labour, blue collar style, and have the luxury of bogan company, or one can wait 6 months for the boom to take off and then one will be working with Kiwi sceff boys and Irish formworkers.

Yobbo, bogan mentality is rife in Perth.

The WA locals even treat interstate aussies like aliens from another planet.

Theres more documents to get WA residency than a new passport for instance.

Here is my theory about Perth.

Over many decades, some people in Australia have had some sort of serious problem, for example, spending time in jail. After getting out of jail, they decide to go as far away as possible, and start a new life. Where do they go?

As a result, a large number of dysfunctional people have moved to Perth, and their attitude has become part of Perth culture.

People in Perth dont know that other parts of Australia are not like Perth.

Most Perth people will never leave Perth, as they think if they move somewhere else they will be treated badly.

If someone in Perth reads this and wants a better life, move to somewhere in the eastern states, and see how other people live.

To anyone thinking about moving to Perth. Dont let your children grow up in Perth. They are too young to understand.

Don't move to Vung Tau, Vietnam. It's full of old, fat, bald, tattooed, alcoholic bogans who use the 'F' word as a: verb, adverb, noun, adjective, preposition, conjunction and interjection. The only difference is they've switched their VB for San Miguel Light and a bottle of spirits.
You could be next.
