In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

When I go out, I don't take my phone with me anymore. I got sick and tired of people telling me to put the phone away or it will get stolen.

No one ever tells me that. Occasionally a tuk tuk driver but that's it.

And you can't tell a woman that, they get angry about the "mansplaining"

That place is full of terrifying guys who look like a big Hell’s Angels, and there’s just homeless men on the streets and you'll be attacked within a second. :?

If you are nimble you can vault over the child prostitutes when you trip on the pensioner, just watch out you don't stick your landing on another pensioner.

That's a terrible idea, you could easily set off a landmine with all that jumping around.

This song is for Sheree, I'm sorry she had such a terrible time here. If only she had figured out some stuff ahead, all this could have been avoided.
And whoever advised her to go to Sihanoukville is a right bastard, I wouldn't inflict that on my worst enemy:

Read this and the second link is just completely over the top like a total troll post. She comes across as a totally inexperienced traveller with no life experience who somehow has a completely panicky view on everything Cambodian? and who chooses to judge everthing negatively.

I like many others have found Cambodians to be the friendliest people in South East Asia. But I'm a Man.But I have reason to believe that the majority of women also have same positive experience.

This post therefore seems weird and out of place. The way it's written to be totally OTT makes its weirdness look very suspect and trollish to the point it cannot in any sense be considered seriously. In the first link she says she was robbed of $50, in the second link she says she gave away $50. So is she a liar too?...Talking about Snookie being seedy in the comments section makes it obvious of her limited travel experience.

To sum up...YAWN!

She was throwing money all over the place and then at some point remembered that she didn't have her passport because she had hired out a motorbike? Where? That sounds completely implausible for someone so timid. I believe at least some of it is a real account though, people see what they want to see sometimes and her negative attitude from the start just made her panic about what were most likely totally harmless situations. Then she exaggerates a whole lot just to make the post more juicy. It's full of doom and false assumptions, like that everything shuts down here at 8.00 PM. The riverside area does shut down very early though and there are plenty of creepy people around (local glue sniffers, foreign pant-sniffers etc) so in some ways it's understandable. However, it is a bit annoying when people damn a place because they arrive in the middle of the night without any idea where they are going. Try that in any city and you might end up on some rough main drags.
How about:
I went to London and this taxi driver gave me the creeps and ripped me off and then dumped me in this horrific area full of junkies and homeless child prostitutes. It was appalling, there were poor people everywhere. It was near a roundabout with a disgusting statue of a naked child firing arrows at Tower Records. What the hell is wrong with these people? I cried and ran off as fast as I could on a bus and ended up in Clacton-on-sea, it was absolutely dreadful and I feared for my life, full of gross old perverts and feral kids. I ran off across a main road and almost caused a pile up but eventually got a bus back to King's Cross, and met this very handsome but huge and scary man who helped me out. I don't know what it is but I just seem to attract the most random people when I hang around bus stations. Anyway, he introduced me to a friend of his called Orjon. When I suddenly realized that I was about to be kidnapped I beat a hasty retreat from there by bursting into tears and threatening to call my embassy if they didn't instantly get me a ticket out of there. The UK is scary and dangerous, I wish I'd never gone and I'm never going there again, I'll keep my hard-earned cash, thank you.

Silence, exile, and cunning.
