never been myself but looked into what the scene is like over there
i really want to visit Japan, i hate all things touristy, im more of a mingler n stuff, but in Japan id be an unashamed tourist going around doing all touristy things so much id want to go see haha

It really depends where you are, like around ueno, akihabara, Shinjuku, and ichigaya stations the District are packed. Places like sendegaya, otsuka, and similar places have lots of people all the time but still feel like a small town. People there do not inadvertently touch other people no matter how packed a train, sidewalk or club is. Never see traffic unless you are in a car which I never did once there, public transportation is simply amazing.

Everything in Japan is touristy tbh, even to the Japanese lol, but it's worth it. If you go, plan in advance, it is the only place I ever plan my itinerary 3 months in advance simply because there is so many people. Lots of tickets for things like sumo, baseball, concerts and some museums go on sale 3 months beforehand to the date and some sell out fast.

Yeah exactly i was planning my itinerary too for early summer this tear but my tax rebate was a little shier than usual so had 2 weeks in Pattaya instead, not going to go to Tokyo and not do everything i want was gutted as the sumo championships was going to be on, was going to watch a baseball game with Gavin Mac/Cam Nivag too
