Yes, it's not too bad depending on your spending style I found.
what if your spending style was Japanese hookers (not chinese sexslaves) and staying in love hotels...
id love to visit one of those cuddle brothels where i can lay on a girls lap and have her stroke my head for 15minutes then give me a 5 second hug for about $100
i met a frenchman yesterday who payed a nigerian pimp 100$ USD for a (15 minutes) short time with japanese whore in roppongi.
the French guy was obviously clueless then mate, she would have been a Chinese trafficked import, he should have done his research lol
Quite a few of them are Filipino as well(they make them up to look Japanese). I spoke to a couple of them that worked in Kabuchiko when I was in Manilla and even they thought the Japanese were super weird. One told me about a yakuza dude who got super obsessed with her so she ran away to Korea then flew back to the Philippines.

yeah a $100 would only get you a chinese girl made out to be Japanese, the fact he bought her off a Nigerian just makes it even more obvious,
never been myself but looked into what the scene is like over there
i really want to visit Japan, i hate all things touristy, im more of a mingler n stuff, but in Japan id be an unashamed tourist going around doing all touristy things so much id want to go see haha

How 'full' is tokyo? Say compared to BKK how stuffy does the city feel in terms of traffic, public transportation and pedestrians?

It really depends where you are, like around ueno, akihabara, Shinjuku, and ichigaya stations the District are packed. Places like sendegaya, otsuka, and similar places have lots of people all the time but still feel like a small town. People there do not inadvertently touch other people no matter how packed a train, sidewalk or club is. Never see traffic unless you are in a car which I never did once there, public transportation is simply amazing.

Everything in Japan is touristy tbh, even to the Japanese lol, but it's worth it. If you go, plan in advance, it is the only place I ever plan my itinerary 3 months in advance simply because there is so many people. Lots of tickets for things like sumo, baseball, concerts and some museums go on sale 3 months beforehand to the date and some sell out fast.
