Bentleys to be sold in Cambodia.

Just what Cambodia needs now.

Bentley Motors Group, which is based in the United Kingdom, has collaborated with and has now authorized the Cambodian-based HGB Group to bring the upmarket Bentley cars into the local market.

An agreement has been reached between the two companies for HGB Group to sell and distribute the luxurious cars in Cambodia starting on February 22.

The two companies have also agreed to bring five models of the luxury brand – the Continental GT V8S, the Continental GT V8S, the FlyingSpurV8 and the Bentayga W12 – to show local customers so they get an understanding of what they have to offer.

“Cambodia is constantly growing its economy, infrastructure, political stability, growth of entrepreneurs and businessmen and this is why HGB imports the luxury cars to serve the needs of its customers,” Mr. Hasenoehrl said...

A gleaming white 2-door Bentley was to be seen last Saturday in Siem Reap.

Someone with an "Eye-Spy" book could add it to one sighting of a Rolls a couple of years ago, 2 sightings of
fully blacked-out Gulf Fatimahs and - sadly - a deranged Frenchman with leg sores muttering to himself.

When I arrived last month in Phnom Penh, during the taxi ride to the Riverside, I noticed a Ferrari on the road

There are people with big money around, although what use a high-speed sportscar is in Cambodia is debatable

Spotting a Ferrari in PP isn't that rare except it is the one La Ferrari to be seen around.
Other very rare hypercars also locally represented include a Porsche 918 and a McLaren P1.
As you say roads and traffic conditions but also lack of service facilities and probable owners driving skills would question the need everywhere else than in the KOW.

Less much so in Thailand where the majority of imported exotic sport cars are very regularly engaged in clubs tracks meetings and other national competitions. The presence of several very nice racing tracks across the country making this possible.
