banning

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Just happened to me today too because a called the more"established" prick a prick for his racist overtones directed towards WHITE Christians. The real kicker is when I tried to get into the forum, I was told I wasn't "authorized" to enter the forum. And all that for calling a prick a prick. Oh well, at least I wasn't banned totally, lol.
You weren't able to access the thread because it has been deleted. Nobody is "authorized" to access it. However, if you're still upset, you might want to try crying yourself to sleep.
I actually found it quite humorous. I'm crying as we speak.

Numerical names how wonderful :D

Of course the luckiest numbers would be reserved and auctioned off to new Chinese members. In fact the whole idea could be quite a money maker if Somebody were to start a chinese forum, gotta move with the times and all!

Even if the name is not offensive, it may be difficult to determine is the moniker was taken for political reasons that instill hatred, say a UVF killer, socio economic snobbery, ie a very dead and very gay british aristocrat or solely of sexual desire, eg. using the name of an athelete that the poster fantasizes about at night. Lord Lucan... er I mean John.... I couldn t agree with you more. If you are 555 on another forum then you should be 555 on this or was it 666.

I think anyone that makes it to -5 karma within 2 days of signing up, should be banned, castrated and than hung out to dry :stir:

I've had my share of gore and guts, and someone's brains smeared all over the road looks similar to the next RTA victim.
Most of the threads here are about not 'someone's brains smeared all over the road' . Any such photos are hidden expressly elsewhere so you don't have to see them unless YOU want to.
Cheer up. Here are some special positive anti-darknet photos for you.

Is it indeed time for a new forum? To get away from the old forum who followed here. Or shall we just resign ourselves to the same ol one upmanship and neocolonialism and be done?

I find often on forums new posters are bullied by more established ( think 1000's of posts) posters who feel that newbies are invading "their" forum. Conversely new posters have little invested in a forum and are more likely to tell a pr*ck what they think of him as opposed to letting it slide. A troll is a troll is a troll
I think the interesting times over at TOF have encouraged some of the trolls to migrate this way for various reasons. I've noticed an uptick in trolling since the shenanigans on TOF came to light.
