It's officially about a month. Unofficially some people go around for many of months worrying how they will be able to cope and make this consumption holiday the least hurtful for their kids since they can't afford the same things as more successful parents.

It's all about perspective, I'm happy for you that you had a good one :)

If it were just that, then I’d likely have little regard or disregard for it. But this one day started in late September, in Europe. There is a deep part of me that misses a certain element of Christmas from 40odd years ago.
