I'm back in the Kingdom! First stop...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

And if I'm found stone cold in a $5 guesthouse, please tell my family it was just a normal "heart attack," which is VERY common for young men in good shape like me after having a few too many beers in this heat.
Get ahead of the game - write your testament. :D Leave it all to Srey Mom who is sitting beside you, feeding you beer after beer after beer...
(Hey, wait a minute :o )
Better get naked at Angkor Wat.

I'm hardly an SR expert, but hit Belmiro's Pizza on St. 7 for, well, just about anything from the west. Good food. They have amazing heart-attack specials sometimes. Actually, I was pretty impressed with the variety and quality of food in SR.

This. When I first came to SR 6 years ago, most restaurants served large portions of mediocre food for little money.

However, in the last 2 years the gastronomic scene has exploded with restaurants catering to pretty much every taste.

I am not a regular at Belmiro's but when I feel I need for spiking my cholesterol levels, then Belmiro's it is.

Ah, so I didn't miss anything during my 10-year gap between visits. I only returned a couple of months ago and was quite taken by Siem Reap as it is now. Although I can mostly do without Pub St.

I'm going back to SR at the end of this month to check out the room rental possibilities. I just took Phnom Penh off my Move To list after failing to find something affordable and that met my needs (no way am I going to pay $600US and up for a PP apartment).

Whew, ok, so I'm in Phnom Penh!

Been busy doing all sorts of hedonistic things I've been unable to do for the past 10 months or so.

Siem Reap was great, but that Doner Kabob place was never open when I came across them. I was either too early or too late.

Ok, off to Lone Star in a bit.
