Authorities Blacklist Rebels MC Cambodia (Motorcycle Club) from Entering Country

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. And this was sent to CEO last night from Stevie, maybe who owned the bar everyone is referencing, and said this, although I'm not sure why he seems to be blaming it on Australian officials
:

I'm Steve I went to Thailand for visa run & holiday.on my return at Hadlex
Border i bought my visa then went to get stamped in to Cambodia. They said
no I cannot come in to Cambodia. Cancel my visa & sent me back to Thailand.
Iv lived in Cambodia for 10 years now. Iv always obided by the Cambodian
laws & never bin in trouble. Iv never been a member of the MC. So why is
the Australian federal police putting me on a black list. I'm English not
Australian. They do not have the right. This not over by a long shot. If
have to I will take legal action against the Australian federal police.

Pathetic cunts. Felder is correct, the AFP are behind this. I remember being threatened on the forum by one of them years ago. They had a treehouse, sorry clubhouse in Toul Kork then. I used to see individuals often getting on planes on the way to Cambodia.
In Australia and NZ bikie gangs are big players in the ice game. Fuck them off back home, they give us a bad name.

I believe that the Rebels MC Cambodia opened a bar/branch in the very innocent and pure town of Kampot a few months back, and there were a few that weren't happy about this.

This is what I was thinking of, but no idea if this would be at all related or not:

Maybe you guys can clear this up, if Steve has lived here for 10 years what sort of Visa would he be using, he said Visa run to Thailand, Don't you just have to get extension from DOI.

I'm asking as I need to do an extension soon on a ER, can I just extend the current ER or do I need to leave Cambodia and start the whole process again ??

No. Mark Russell (newbie and on FB) said he asked the AFP when he landed.

Sounds like the guy was on the wrong kind of visa.

He would have been on a EG , when in actual fact he should be on a EB with work permit . EB and ER can be extended in country .

So what the fuck is going on?

Is this Rebels MC related only or is it anyone doing the EG two-step border shuffle every 6 months?

@timmydownawell you've been getting multiple EG's, correct? Any concerns?

I'm trying to get my head round the logic of these bike clubs, my understanding of it all is that we are all guests of this country unless we become citizens, why on earth would anyone as a guest advertise that they are a member of a criminal enterprise, the wearing of the cut off jacket with the name of the gang is illogical unless you actively want attention. You cannot then complain if it all goes tits up and the host country then says it does not want you in the country.
I'm not trying to be disrespectful and I'm sure some of these guys just want to enjoy their time here, especially with the relaxed road traffic laws and decent weather, I'm pretty sure they are all not contract killers or drug smugglers either.
Maybe someone from the club could explain what it's all about.
