Authorities Blacklist Rebels MC Cambodia (Motorcycle Club) from Entering Country

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Sounding like a list was generated from several sources and rolled out at once, thus creating this conflation between unrelated groups of people being denied entry around the same time.

that makes me think he didn't know either... it came from higher up.
Maybe, but also maybe it was just the Khmer thing of not being straight-up when dealing with "difficult" matters - to avoid "confrontation".

Does anybody have any idea of exactly what details do appear on immigration screens, at the entry point?
- In relation to bans/crimes/alerts etc?? Highly detailed, or just red/green lights??
In Cambodia, or anywhere else for that matter.

Not so. From the OP, written by the wife of a deceased Sihanoukville biker.
For the moment we know about 4 expats refused to enter the country (2 Australians, 1 English and 1 Russian). I had a flight to Denpasar from Phnom Penh airport when an immigration officer told me that I'm blacklisted and won't be allowed to come back. Finally, they told me that there is a list of 23 expats related to the Rebels MC that are not allowed to enter the country.

I remember hearing at a Rebels get together in Sihanoukville some Cambodian Officials turned up ( think some from Immigration) and checked everyones ID.

I stand corrected but think it was around the time of the funeral.

Wonder if this is where the list originates from??

Wonder what this will do to their public image? Or maybe they engineered all this to show just how normal and down to earth they all are?

Is that a knights templar in reference to the counter-jihad right wing extremist movement in whose name Anders Behring Breivik murdered 77 and injured 319 people?

I read some angry commentary on Facebook about this thread and they were very upset about CEO posters calling the Rebels a criminal organization. I didn't see them complaining about them being neo-nazi twats.

"A brotherhood that drinks beer" my ass. If this is a brotherhood then it's Aryan. Those are flags of the racist south and child murdering terrorists.
