Aussie forgets what hotel he's staying at in Siem Reap and has been looking for two days

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Really, how do it I do that? If I want to know where I went the night before on nights of my Kavanaugh-esque blackouts.

I've only lost my guesthouse once. In Saigon I arrived and checked in, and went for a wander to have a look around. It was late afternoon, and between leaving and returning, all the businesses in the lane pulled their gates across so when I got back I didn't recognise anything... after walking past it maybe four times I finally realised which one was it.

The man reached out to CEO and said he did manage to find his hotel.

Yeah. I've done it.
But only took me 4 hours to find my way back - from 5am to 9am from memory. Won't happen again. And at least it's not on facebook. :plus1:
Haha, I did that once too, almost 20 years ago in Bangkok. Who knew it would take a couple of hours driving around looking for a hotel with the name 'Royal' in it?
I did it too in Livingstone, after wasting half an hour of a driver's time it too me 3 hours wandering around in the dark before I found the hotel. :?
