haha I did! She wasn't phased at all though. I'm pretty damn sure she's used to people spitting in her face at this point of her life (therefore, no knee to my private parts).

I started screaming her name hysterically. I then proceeded to pull my hair as hard as I could before fainting. She came to me and asked why I was such a peasant. She offered food, shelter, and weed but I had to catch my flight. It was like meeting Michael Jackson before he turned grey.

On a more serious note, she was sitting next to my boss and I in one of the airport restaurants, and she was sitting two rows in front of us on the plane. She's nowhere as bad as any of the 60 something year old men you see in Riverside... She just needs a better PR agent. I mean she even wished me good luck when I got off the plane in Myanmar!
My boss (Cambodian) thinks that she should come back to Cambodia and keep on doing what she's been doing.

I jumped to this thread from another link and read it right through. I have recently started reading Cambodian forums after a long pause after k440 bit the dust. It gave me a real read of someone who had a rough go of it. More of a rough go of it than probably 99% of any posters on this sight or anywhere else.

But more than that it gave me a real read of the general attitude of, Society? Guys mostly? Guys who mostly live in or have interest in Cambodia? Guys who post on forums dedicated to all things or some things to do with? Cambodia?

Anyway I'm not overly impressed with the whole discussion.

While I recognize the diversity of people and their world views, I found the overall discussion flippant and depressing.

Bitch slapping, petty arguments, stalking? , and all sort of negative vibes mixed with thoughtful insights. It's telling that once the shit show was over nobody has held their interest past a week after this unfortunate individual left Cambodia, yet followed her distressing story incessantly for close to 3 months.
