Atatta Boy

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Atatta Boy

A well earned thanks to OD for hanging in and straightening the mess out. I know there will be sour notes in the musical spheres of well deserved praise, but there must have been moments when he wanted to throw the towel in. They lost readership and hence most likely advertisers too. That's damning enough
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

anyone lost is no loss. Fuck em. But this continuing nattering on about loss of advertisers/revenue disgusts me. The best content online has always been stuff ppl put up because they LIKED it. For free with no idea of income. The commercialization of the internet has spawned a million worthless sites of shit. Making money as a goal is shallow. The best music, movies, sports, etc. have always been done by ppl who LOVED what they were doing. If these boys are (Zappa reference coming...) only in it for the money, it'll show, and affect the money. One cans see that affect on other forums.
Love what you're doing, and money might be a pleasant side affect.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

It would do us all, myself included, to remember how much that Dragon does for our benefit. spending a few moments to recognise how much we should appreciate his hard work, probably means a great deal to him.

It probably keeps him smiling during those during those dark lonely moments in the depths of the cogs, wheels and shafts that make this whole CEO thing work.

Thank you Dragon & General and thank you Ira for reminding us.

Maybe we should have a Dragon day?

A day set aside to remember this hard, behind the scenes work.

We could spend the day reflecting, eating Vindaloos, chasing young maidens, talking about Wales and not talking to anyone called George!

Thanks OD n Gen
