Arthritis

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Who the hell are you? What meet up? Botters? Mistaken identity I think.

I had arthrisis since my early 20s. The reason i left my cold country were the pain would get to severe in the cold scandinavia

I also got it at my toes but it comes and goes in severity. The only good advice i can give is to be active and dont let the pain hinder you or it will become a negative spiral limiting you more and more. Go for walks on your painful foot every day.

Here i just take some iboprufen if i get into a period with more pain. In Sweden i used to take Ketoprofen as a 1 a day pill before bed time and that made me more or less pain free. From barely beeing able to walk the stairs coz of the pain to beeing able to exercise and in the end stop taking the medication. Today i keep myself active and dont really think about it anymore.

See the medication as a tool for you to be able to exercise it away rather then a fix for it. Active lifestyle out in the sun is what you need.

Speaking as a Doctor, the sudden onset of pain in the extremities of the foot, especially the toes, is normally associated with a trauma injury. Are any other members of your family - wife, girlfriend, cat, dog etc. suffering from a similar sudden onset of pain in their asses?

I hope this helps.

It could be the arch in your foot has clasped, and if it has it can be very painful on the joints in your toes. I went to a podrist and that is what I have in both feet, got ortodicts made, to put in my shoes, happy days 😁👟

Try avoiding sugar for a week and see if it helps. I get all sorts of arthritis type pain when I have too much sugar.

I have realised it isn't arthritis. It's caused by jarring from doing heroic numbers of burpess.
