Area and hotel for a first timer.

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

What are you plans while you are here? Sightseeing or nightlife? That will allow us to let you know better locations depending on what you are planning on doing while you are here.

The priority is night life. I do want to see some things too though.

2 grand for 5 days?? $400/day, u can stay just about anywhere, but for night life be between streets 108 and 172 no more than 2 blocks off riverside
I was just in pp past month Hometown suites on street 172, big new rooms for only $20,
sundance is full of Australians but the $1 tacos are a great deal

Another good one could be the guesthouse above the Pickled Parrot.....

Right on street 104 and a 24 hour bar to drink your life away in.

OP get to sundance they will look after you unlike a few khmer owned guest houses which can be shady as f#ck.

Europe guest house is cheap and right in action so you save on tuk tuks and motodumbasses.

Good room. Apart from walking up 3 flights of stairs at 4 am after falling asleep at the bar face down in your beer.
