Siem Reap, Cambodia: An Apsara dancer dressed in traditional Khmer clothing has upset many Cambodians by taking off their panties during a comedy performance at the Siem Reap Night Market.

The music is first traditional Cambodian music and they are dancing Apsara-style. Then some Korean music comes on and their dancing Gangnam-style. Some hip-hop music comes on and they take off their panties and start walking around acting like a monkey.

This is clearly the reason why the Cambodian authorities were so harsh with the foreigners who were recently caught riding around on motorbikes naked in Cambodia. Locals were also very upset by the foreigners whose video of them having sex on a Tuk-Tuk went viral.

If foreigners hadn't been running around naked in the first place there is no way that this Apsara dancer would have decided to take their panties off.

Foreigners need to be better role models for the Cambodian people so that they don't corrupt their innocent minds. Otherwise it is only a matter of time before even more locals are following in their footsteps and riding around naked, throwing off their panties and making love on Tuk-Tuks.

OP makes it sound like this is the norm in foreign tourist behavior, which of course laughable. Then the logic suggests that Cambodians are too weak to form their own moral values and are doomed to mimic an imagined Western behavioral norm. If that dancer wanted to truly mimic our values, those panties would have been bikini not granny panties.

Then again, I've had a few locals tell me (with a straight face) that there are not and never have been any Khmer prostitutes in Cambodia, only Vietnamese. Khmers are too moral and upright to do anything like that. And that the KR didn't commit any mass killings, that was the Vietnamese too. After all, Khmer love Khmer. It's those foreigners that do bad things and bring bad influences.

I won't ride around naked and make love on Tuk-Tuk, however i might try with naked beach if Cambodia is really going to have one in the future. lolzz
