$2 anyone?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I have two, one from 1976, the other is from 2013.
There are people who cannot imagine that there are other ways of life than their own life.

I had one in my wallet but lost it when my wallet was stolen.
Lucky I only had small money in it as well as the $2 note

Well I kind of noticed the said bill and mentioned it to the kind gentleman, who smiled expansively as I gave it back to him, shaking my head and tutting. Is that lucid enough ?
A definite improvement of a heretofore obscure chain of events.

I find it very fortunate indeed to have any money to keep in my wallet.
Well I only had a $2 bill once or twice and once all the other cash in my wallet was gone they were never going to last long. 8-)

I don't get it, why wouldn't you want a two dollar bill? I would have never thought of it.

There was a time here when $2 notes were considered lucky and prized. You could sell them to money changers for a healthy markup.

I think it was Cam Nivag who once brought a suitcase full of $2 bills to Cambodia, sold them off to money changers, and was able to fund the entirety of his trip with the proceeds. ;-)

Total bullshit
A friend of mine brought 100 or more of them over years ago. There is nothing unusual about them except the small number of them in circulation.
