ANY INFO ON THIS GIRL?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Listen all, I get that i made mistakes here, but yes i know she did what she did and yes it was witnessed - the money lending. As for giving in to fear i wont even if she is connected and was just embarrassed to tell her people she f'd up gambling again. I have tried to reach the owner of Les Oliviers but hes gone to 'France forever it seems.

Why ask the mod to remove a scammers photo?

She has gone from borrowing money and having nowhere to go and no phone or anything (mostly out of embarrassment she did not want to reach out) to blaming me for not re paying her loan!..This all confrimed by the husband who is NOT Khmer and is in Thailand now.
As for the siuggested comment about her staying over- I never wanted her to come and cry at my house and mooch and then take off with my clothes and then threaten to call the big police if I had a problem with this! There was nothing more to it- i had no relationship with her and detested her from the first few minutes of meeting her but I did go along for the ride and I did not have to. I own what happened.

I say keep her photo up, shes a scammer and people should be warned.

Why would you lend money to someone you allegedly had no relationship with and detested? Why was she wearing your clothes if you didn't smash? She seems cute enough for a quick, drunken in and out. I was told that a shoulder to cry on is a dick to ride on.... I think (not that it matters, really) you're full of shit. You made a dumb move, she was slicker than you and you lost. Get on with your life. Declare your passport stolen at the embassy (if you haven't recovered it) and be happy that it's $200 and not your life savings (unless your life savings were the $200, in which case lending that trick money wasn't the first and biggest mistake you've ever made).

PS: she most likely has no connections. She just sees the sucker in you.

I have my passport sorry for misleading, she returned that when i re paid her. She had some corroborating info on the family but after hours of looking up stuff I see that the connection may be just a lot of photo shopped pics on facebook. I detested her and her Khmer elite ways much like a student I would have had when I taught here years ago. When she suddenly re appeared in need I thought maybe she WAS human. My mistake. She s pretty hefty for me but yes she is pretty. Either way, she stole and drags us all down she gets it - I m not giving in $200 is $200 regardless its not $20 its not disposable. F her connected or not. The day I back off of her is the day I die. Sometimes I think being a sucker at times is a way to learn or a way to show some weakness to gain knowledge, maybe its time to not do that again.

I am certainly not a rich guy, but all this for $200? Its worth it for the entertainment value alone - let's face it, you got a good story out of it and its enriched what is probably a dull life for you. $200? Jeez mate get a life.

Have you heard of view bots to boost stats? Not that the General would engage in such skulduggery of course.

You won’t win here. You’re yet another foreigner who made questionable choices and the “authorities” will discount you as such. In order to be taken seriously, you’ll have to spend the better part of $200 bribing someone to do your bidding. If she is as connected as she claims (or she simply plays another hand when put against the wall), you’ll lose that money also. This is a dead end, you can either walk away or continue to lose money and possibly put yourself in a dangerous situation. Either way, you “winning” is not an option.
Cambodia: where money can buy you absolutely anything except intelligence.
