Another Down-On-His-Luck Foreigner Washes Up On the Shores of Siem Reap

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

To be honest, he still looked pretty awful, but nowhere near as awful as the photos posted here.
Khmers told me they wanna help him but feel he is too far gone.

I think he's doing just fine.

Sad to say, it is quite obvious that
he has that sort of St Vitus' Dance - or Delirium Tremens - than
suggests he's beyond all help

He is still in SR as of 7pm on Thursday 8th September, but wearing long pants with no sores or bandages visible - yet still twitching
seemingly quite uncontrollably (?)

How very sad - has no Francophone talked to him?

Almost one year later, and the guy is still alive and living on the streets of Siem Reap. I came across this today and it was posted on 1 July, so I suppose it is recent and up to date. He is supposedly Scottish, which would explain why no one can understand him.
The video is painful to watch. Especially with those giant foot massage photos just behind him.
