Oh, and check out this video! It shows some naked foreigners/Westerners shooting a rocket launcher in Cambodia! WTF! ? ! ?

Too bad he didn't blow up a cow with the rocketlauncher. That would check all the boxes for people's preconceptions of what Cambodia is like.

Would have been kinda funny if the barang doofus rolled over a landmine when he did his naked celebratory gymnastics.

Why did he feel it to be necessary to be naked while shooting an RPG?

Also how did th govt track down the photos of the people with the pics? If I was to make a video on youtube about Cambodia would I be targeted? Just wondering?

Yeah, good find, but they're definitely talking about the pics in the link Samouth just posted.

Personally, I think they're totally Photoshopped. One glance at them and they look fishy! Especially where the grass is in front of her feet, and also where they seem to be touching the walls.

I think the other problem with these photos is the underlying assumption by these tourists that Angkor is some kind of amusement park and not a living heritage site that is important to many Cambodians. These tourists are only using the temples as a backdrop to their “cool” photos. They show a willful ignorance of the cultural context of the temples, of Cambodia’s ancient and modern history, and the sacredness of these sites to the Cambodian population today.

I find it somewhat interesting that all these sites have hundreds (thousands) of carved stone figures with topless Apsara dances and nudes and now in this "modern" day and age its a sacrilege to show the human body. When I go to the beach I see most of the Cambo women wearing more clothes to swim than they wear on the street. Are we headed to Cambo women wearing full body bags like the Saudi's?

Instead of getting pissed off about a couple of nudes next to nude carvings, the Cambodians should get pissed off about a rich guy making millions of $$$$$ in admission fees to Angkor Wat and not putting anything back in it in infrastructure, or the rape of Ream Park by the well connected Chinese (Yeejia Development/United International Investment Group/Chinese-government), or the coastline being fenced off to Cambodians by well connected moneyed people/corporations (Sokha Corp., Yeejia Development, United International Investment, Chinese government,) or the rape of the forests by well connected generals/corporations.

It seems that priorities are back-asswards, but like a magician, look at this hand here, but don't look at the other hand.
