Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Siem Reap, Cambodia news: The recent discovery of a make-up makeover of a Buddhist statue at Angkor Wat has caused some puzzlement over the intentions of the act. Is this the desecration of a religious statue, or something else ?
Apsara authorities say their security guards cannot be watching everything all of the time.

It's hard to say without knowing the person's intentions. The statue in most of the pictures is a concrete replica so it's not really like an ancient piece was destroyed. It looks like they put some care into the skin tones and it wasn't just a wanton act of vandalism. Probably just some deranged make-up artist on ice or what not. 8-)
Silence, exile, and cunning.
