I don't think they're in the same category at all. Dave's videos are fun to watch, and he's just having a good time walking around Cambodia, showing everyone around, etc.

Can anyone give me a quick synopsis of what he says in his videos? I don't mean to be a lazy twat but I tried watching them a few times and he just meandered for a few minutes and I noticed it was an hour long or something and clicked half way through and it was no clearer on what on earth it was about.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Different style and intent, yes, but all the same walking around showing people stuff. Those 2 cohorts should team up and produce videos.General Mackevili wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 11:20 pmI don't think they're in the same category at all. I did likewise, just in case I managed to stumble across something mildly amusing- it’s pretty much the same. I may have watched 15 minutes in total. Ramble a bit. Look thoughtfully in a slightly defocused middle distance stare, pregnant pauses that go on for far too long, and some lightning induced, inspired (to him) revelations. My brother does the same sort of shit- sometimes I wonder if he’s fallen asleep with his eyes open, and randomly somniloquizing. Which is largely why we never occupy the same room (preferably, continent) at the same time.John Bingham wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 11:27 pmCan anyone give me a quick synopsis of what he says in his videos? Druggie stupor.
It (the video, not the person) is an hour of nothing, by someone with little to offer, loosely on a subject that he seems to disassociated from to properly comprehend.
Just reading my reply to your query on the subject has taken from you more than you’ll receive in enlightenment on the subject.

It sort of like a soap opera starring him, with some minor useful information about Cambodia, then you have the drugs, the sex, women, his own failures, a little self pity and a bit of desperation, plus him teaching English and doing some minor projects with locals, eating, drinking and wandering around. yYou know how i found Cambodia Ex Pats online? i did a search for Aaron in Cambodia and up popped this site, and i saw the info about his criminal proceeding and prison time.

Great ways to learn about Cambodia via these gonzo/homo video journalists.John Bingham wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 11:27 pmCan anyone give me a quick synopsis of what he says in his videos? He is running into problems now because the ex wife has finally cut him off financially. Her alimony was the major (or only) income he had. The income from “his channel” as he always called it was very likely zero as he only has some 600 subscribers and just a few hundred views per video. Also the few old mates that used to Paypal him some cash have probably seen the light after him posting videos of smoking and mongering those donations away.Freightdog wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 7:24 amI did likewise, just in case I managed to stumble across something mildly amusing- it’s pretty much the same. None of his “projects” ever came to fruition and he seems to finally have woken up to the realisation that he is well and truly farked.
There’ll probably be a new thread soon...

I predicted dead, deported or homeless a few months ago. Maybe he can get an emergency flight out via the embassy like his hero NJH?
