I'm not buying this "gassed" story. Even the highly-trained Spetsnaz couldn't get that right.
And what's this "baby is fine he is not sleeping in the house at the moment he is with his khmer mom"? Is she the baby's other mom or what?
Agreed I was going to write something "sensible" re the gassing, and then I decided to let it remain as another "urban legend" My cat would never fall for that

And an American Reporter for The Khmer Times makes so many spelling errors and improper word usage in her post? [Mod Edit: Come on, be civil.]

AND...at what point was it safe enough for the jaos to enter the residence without gas masks, and still be unaffected?

Maybe they ignited the remaining gas using that sophisticated electronic device?

It always gets me when someone claims to be a western journalist and their writing is semi-literate.
Ditto.

Everytime i read one of these "you won't believe what happened to me " type stories.... you know what, i don't believe them.
The photos prove nothing. Why not post the video?
The "device" is also hidden. Why not strip away the covering and check out the PCB that you can just see at the top.
How did they get your keys?
And, finally, the gas. The mysterious gas. Where is the container? Was it a powder that was ignited using the "device"?

So many questions.

Maybe it was all an elaborate hoax designed to garner attention.. i really don't know. But the story, as it stands, is a tall tale tbh.

Did someone drop off a big order of special pizzas before this happened?

Can you imagine how much gas you'd probably need to knock out some adults in a house that's completely open like that? Should be a couple of empty kegs sat outside the window
If I were a thug and I were going inside a house full of gasses knocking out a few people and a cat to get some motorbikes I probably would wear a protective mask to prevent myself from fainting as well.....
