Curious.

What was the tip-off the $100 was fake? What should people be on the watch out for this time?

I don't think there is any particular tip-off about the bills, most people who deal with them know how to spot a fake. I'd take it more of a warning that some confidence trickster is about and not to trust him.

Lol. That's a small giveaway. Even I should be able to spot that. :thumb:

I had a Saudi buddy tell me that the US has $200 USD notes now.

I asked him why he thought that, and he told me that he received it as change before. Not sure what bill he could have paid with that would require $200 in change, but it's not the dumbest thing I've heard a Saudi say.

I see she’s turned off comments now!
The guy probably didn’t even know they were spirit money.

Some basic checks would have seen they were fake.

Thickness of the paper usually gives them away! Seen a couple of good ones & would of never know unless showed to me, plastic & paper. Most Khmer's will feel the difference straight away but then again they are on the look out.

Sure it wasn't one of these 2016 dollar bills. :plus1:
