American Change?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

That has set me up for the year, incredibly lucky!
Cool! There were a few of those scattered around our new house when we moved in. They're pretty rare but I'll sell them to you if you want!

What do you mean? These are legitimate $2USD notes in mint condition! ;)

As long as Clinton isn't the Pres. on them your OK. I have a $3. one with Hillary on it. It looks to be printed on toilet-paper grade paper which kind of goes along with Hillary.

What makes you think that?

Most Khmer think that having a US $2 bill will bring them good luck financially. Alot of shops, businesses, bars/restaurants have them on display in a frame next to their other lucky charms. My missus always carries one in her purse, as do many other Khmers I know.

I have bought a hundred 2.00 notes several times from my bank before travelling to Cambodia. I used to like to leave them as tips. Khmers have always considered them to be good luck. I have not done it recently............but they were always well received.
