Administration/Moderation Concerns?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Due to very over zealous and rapid response from "the management",

I was unable to post what I in my very humble opinion thought about racist comments and how they can be used.

To be used in a deliberately insulting and baiting way is definitely wrong. However, used in comedy such as Allo, Allo or the brilliant Fawlty Towers shows how these words can be used to show the racist as a moron.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Is it not possible (of course it is) to put the word "banned" next to the avatar of members who are in this position?

I tried to Karma (good) several that turned out to be banned. I had no ideas they were banned or what they did to cause this action.

That's a good one. I see that on Tapatalk, and I've always wondered why it doesn't do that on the forum. I have a feeling we wouldn't need a programmer/developer for that, so I'll have a look in a bit..

I almost think it's possible that one of our customizations disabled that or something. Hell, it might be as simple as setting an automatic 'rank' for people in the 'banned' group. Hmm.
