Beware that bail jumping accused murderer Mick Taylor aka "Mick Doggard" aka "Mick the Pom" has moved from Sihanoukville to Kampot.

Taylor, aged 55, was arrested in Thailand in 2005 for stabbing his girlfriend Jantra Weangta in the heart in their bungalow, killing her. The Thais evidence against him reportedly included producing a pair of bloody trousers, a large Bowie knife and 13 witnesses.

Taylor aka Doggard posted a $10,000 land title and was released on bail and then fled to the Philippines for years. He was then arrested in the Philippines and was supposed to be extradited to Thailand to face murder charges, but somehow escaped that and fled to Sihanoukville. He has now moved to Kampot.

Taylor aka "Mick Doggard" is still wanted on murder charges in Thailand and should be considered to be very dangerous, especially if you're a woman.

A British national wanted in Thailand for the 2004 murder of his then-girlfriend on the resort island of Phuket is currently residing in Sihanoukville, though Cambodian authorities are not presently seeking his arrest, police officials said yesterday.

Seng Saroeun, deputy chief of provincial immigration police in Preah Sihanouk province, said yesterday that Michael Taylor – who had been jailed in Thailand over the stabbing death of his girlfriend Jantra Weangta, but reportedly left the country while free on bail – was living on the Cambodian coast.

“This man has been staying in Cambodia now. He is staying in Preah Sihanouk province,” Saroeun said in an interview yesterday. “He worked as a businessman at a resort.”

However, Lieutenant General Lim Sokha Reaksmey, head of Cambodian Interpol, said that while the two countries often cooperate on extradition matters, no action would be taken in Taylor’s case unless a request was received from Thailand.

“So far, our Cambodian Interpol has not received any request for cooperation from Thai Interpol regarding this case,” he said. “So police will not take action against him or arrest him unless he is committing crimes in Cambodia.”

It always amazes me that armchair detectives can dig up so much information on someone using the internet, (I'll give credit where credit is due, some CEO members do seem to be expert at this type of armchair investigative journalism) yet the actual law enforcement agencies still can't (or won't) find and apprehend them?

I think it is pretty clear that no one is actively interested in seeing this POS see justice. The Red Bull heir that ran over a RT policeman disappeared in 2012 and can only be found at the finest 5-star hotels. if you can buy your way out of killing a cop, you can certainly buy your way out of killing a hooker. I'm glad he's not my neighbour.
