Abusive teacher at Siem Reap School
Re: Abusive teacher at Siem Reap School
If this is true, there is no reason to keep that fu*king teacher. Fire her please. I saw local teacher abused student but never for barang to abuse his or her student. I always believe that most of barangs understand children rights better than us.

Re: Abusive teacher at Siem Reap School
I heard a teacher at the original MIS years ago held a girl against a wall by her throat. When people asked him what he was doing, he just said 'Ah, it's OK, I've had special forces training, I know how much pressure to apply'. He eventually got fired/deported from NW after he went gaga because a vendor outside didn't give him a can of soda quickly enough and he started a fight.
I could tell you guys stories about schools, really.

I'm going out on a limb here.
I'd guess American, the name is popular there.
I'd also guess she's a self-professed evangelical Christian.
Let's see if I'm right.

Damn, get them to post the stuff here if you're convinced it's valid. Re: Abusive teacher at Siem Reap School
My class has myself for 3 days and another Khmer teacher for 2 days. The boys in the class are totally disrespectful to the girls as they won't shut up for a minute. I've tried all sorts of modern ESL tricks to get them to shut up. Nothing works. I spoke to one of the girls about the Khmer teacher and how the boys are in class. She said they don't talk. I s aid what? why not? She said if they do the Khmer teacher pulls their ears hard.Samouth wrote:If this is true, there is no reason to keep that fu*king teacher. Fire her please. EDIT I was just thinking that there were a few people that need the same treatment. Playboy...

If this were a male teacher he would have been hung, drawn and quartered a long time ago tbh.
Re: Abusive teacher at Siem Reap School
The alleged violence is bad enough, but why on earth would a student be in the school building wearing just her underwear? Difficult to pass that off as discipline.
