"Wife screwed me over" sale, Kampot. Fridge, washer ($350 for both), many $5 things, tools, shelves, etc.

This is where you can buy and sell anything you want in Cambodia! There is no 'Craigslist Cambodia,' so this is the next best thing. Most items for sale are in Phnom Penh, but this is a buy and sell section for the whole country. Many expats and tourists have new and used items to sell, so anyone can list them here. CEO has no part in these sales, so buyers and sellers need to get in contact with each other themselves. You're always welcome to list items you're giving away for free, as we encourage the community to give when they can. Amazon and eBay ship select items to Cambodia, but you save time and money when you do things locally.

I don't know if you have any experience teaching English but there are lots of online gigs being advertised, some of them just asking you to let people practice speaking to you.

They're not great jobs but if you have a laptop and the gift of the gab you might at least be able to pay for your food bill or rent until something better comes up.

Good luck mate, I hope you can figure something out.

Another option is teaching private students from home. I have no idea what the going rate there is but if you can find even 2 or 3 at $10 per hour each that's 20/30 bucks an hour and gigs like that tend to grow as people tell their friends.

I'll keep it in mind. I'm still trying to figure out my options at this point, because my paperwork is so screwed up.

Re: Richard, I'll be honest though, I used to be a bit on the snarky side too because I always liked to be prepared for things and thought sometimes people who didn't prepare were just fuck ups in life who couldn't plan for shit...but if you want God to laugh, tell him your plans. Ain't that right? :)

So I'm a lot more sympathetic to those in hard situations now because I had a grand plan in life, an exit strategy, backup plan, plan Z, you name it...and yet here I am.

No but seriously though, that's how it goes sometimes. If you can plan for it, some one can ruin it.

Thanks to the person who kindly bought the bundle of stuff. I'm happy to have food again.

Yeah, but you gotta admit something the universe totally fucks you over and there's nothing you can do about it, eh?

There's times to have compassion too.
