Looking to buy a 4 TB SSD for ASUS lap top

This is where you can buy and sell anything you want in Cambodia! There is no 'Craigslist Cambodia,' so this is the next best thing. Most items for sale are in Phnom Penh, but this is a buy and sell section for the whole country. Many expats and tourists have new and used items to sell, so anyone can list them here. CEO has no part in these sales, so buyers and sellers need to get in contact with each other themselves. You're always welcome to list items you're giving away for free, as we encourage the community to give when they can. Amazon and eBay ship select items to Cambodia, but you save time and money when you do things locally.

The photo isn't very clear
The flash lights up the center, the HD is in the lower corner.
It's not a complete picture

Posting the type might be more helpful then this picture of what looks like onion soup.

Yes, he's right, you need a M.2 form SSD. It's a click in model:

You plug the drive's connector directly in the socket on the motherboard.

Should have worn my glasses last night....

Don't just check the size, also look for the speeds. These M.2 drives can be very fast, but there's also very slow ones around.

The speed they provide is the max speed under the best conditions - sequentially reading very large files. When the files are smaller and randomly spread around the drive the speed generally drops dramatically. You seem to be a user with large amounts of relatively small files, so a high end drive will be very convenient tu use in your case.

Google is your friend. Try to get a drive with at least 1500 MB per second reading speed under the most favorable conditions.

Transcend's PCIe SSD 220S follows NVMe 1.3 and utilizes the PCIe™ Gen3 x4 interface, meaning four lanes are used for transmitting and receiving data simultaneously. Its 8-channel controller supports ultra high data throughput, resulting in compelling performance of up to 3,500MB/s read and 3,200MB/s write.
