Most items for sale are in Phnom Penh, but this is a buy and sell section for the whole country. Many expats and tourists have new and used items to sell, so anyone can list them here. CEO has no part in these sales, so buyers and sellers need to get in contact with each other themselves. You're always welcome to list items you're giving away for free, as we encourage the community to give when they can. Amazon and eBay ship select items to Cambodia, but you save time and money when you do things locally.

Almost USD 100 for a square meter in the boonies. Cambodia really has gone mad!

That's great news. The 26,000 square meters I have will make me a millionaire. Might even be able to afford to retire in Oz.

It should be noted that many boonie Khmer don't "get" the concept of square metres.

I viewed some provincial land lately and was left in total shock when they quoted me $500 per square metre.

Turned out the plot had 20m of road frontage, but went back 800m and a 1m wide lengthwise slice of this was what they called 1sm :facepalm:

10 years ago I bought 2 plots on the left side of a road that were sold as 20m lots each. Back limit was unclear so we had to spend many hours clearing a path in dense overgrown to find out the property was 200m deep.
For the same price I could have chosen land on the right side of the road. According to the middle man they were very comparable "lots" only sized 20m*30m.
It took a a couple more years for the locals to understand what a square meter was :mrgreen:
