Craigslist in Cambodia?

This is where you can buy and sell anything you want in Cambodia! There is no 'Craigslist Cambodia,' so this is the next best thing. Most items for sale are in Phnom Penh, but this is a buy and sell section for the whole country. Many expats and tourists have new and used items to sell, so anyone can list them here. CEO has no part in these sales, so buyers and sellers need to get in contact with each other themselves. You're always welcome to list items you're giving away for free, as we encourage the community to give when they can. Amazon and eBay ship select items to Cambodia, but you save time and money when you do things locally.

We should change the name of the "Newsworthy" forum to "Phnom Penh Post."

Part of the marketing plan.

They're gonna sell this site for a million $$$ next year. You'll see!

Kijiji is where it's at. 4-5 years ago I was thinking of starting a Kijiji copy-cat as bongthom sucked.
Never heard of it. Will check it..
Kijiji is free at a basic level, but paying got you better, quicker, more effective exposure. Craigslist is free. (You get what you pay for . . .)

Several years ago while selling off/giving away everything from my home, I used both. In short, Kijiji rocks, Craigslist sucks. Had only a single query from a Craigslist listing. Dropped it and sold everything via Kijiji over several months. Seems to me a typical Craigslist hunter is looking for free or cheap. Better quality/serious buyers on Kijiji. Better user interface too.

Until recently living in the Bay Area, I found CL invaluable on so many different levels - selling shit, buying shit, finding employees, apartments etc. Never reacted to the personals, but reading some of them (especially casual encounters) was fine entertainment. Losing the classified revenues was a big part of putting virtually every newspaper into bankruptcy. In Thailand it doesn't seem to get much action & in SGN even less.
