Regestrating secondhand moto

Have a car, truck, motorcycle, or bicycle you'd like to sell? List it here for free. Heck, you can even buy and sell tuktuks or your pink Scoopy here. Remember, you need a driver's license in Cambodia for cars, trucks, and any motorbike that's over 125cc. And always wear a helmet!

It’s also cheaper to register and less grief (unless you have a fixer) to put it in your wife/partners name, even if she can’t drive. Although that may be an issue at the border!

That’s the only benefit, unless you’re looking to sell and you see it as a good selling point for the new owner.

Insurance companies at the moment don’t care but I can see that changing. Traffic laws will be tightened up as Cambodia develops. It’s inevitable.
thanks, :thumb:
any idea which borders? i have dealt with all of them, but only driving my thai car out of Cambodia into Thailand and they all were easy
at Palin i had to drive around for 5 minutes to find the thai customs office :-)
Only done Poipet but that was last year and I had a military cop with me who did everything. Didn’t cost a dime. (He had to hand his gun in which annoyed him as he’d just bought it and it cost a lot!)
