Thank You for your reply, first I must say the Honda VTR250 is very suited to the roads of the country. And the bike looks very nice indeed, and I must add a very good asking price if it can be registered in the new owners name. I will add I have a soft spot for this model, and it had been one that I had certainly considered before when looking for my last purchase, and if I had come across this on offer at the time, I would have snapped it up.
With the Covid situation I spend much of my time working on the two bikes I have, but would most like to be out more on the road with them. That day I am sure will come, then I will hopefully look you up to see what other imports you have in stock. :hattip:

Yeah Andy, I like the look of this VTR250 and certainly more scope for longer trips out of PP.

OTOH I would think your Honda 400 single would be more comfortable and versatile given the extra torque and low revving nature for this...especially with a pillion. I'm thinking that while a 250 gives you more versatility over a 110/125 cc scooter, I would've thought a 400cc single would be the sweet spot as well as for around town.

Do you agree? I'm thinking a step up from a scooter to a 250 maybe won't cut it enough? Or put another way, a step down from a 400 to a 250 a let down?

It was one of my choices when I bought the 400. If at the time I could have found a good one I may have invested in it, because they are well suited for the conditions here, also the one above is that of a newer year and can be registered in the name of the new owner.
