What price purity?

Have questions or resources regarding Khmer Culture? This forum is all about the Kingdom of Cambodia's culture. Khmer language, Cambodian weddings, French influence, Cambodian architecture, Cambodian politics, Khmer customs, etc? This is the place. Living in Cambodia can cause you to experience a whole new level of culture shock, so feel free to talk about all things related to the Khmer people, and their traditions. And if you want something in Khmer script translated into English, you will probably find what you need.

Thx LTO. Different hospital but the website and phone number for RR will get you through to Royal PP.

I don't know where Taa is living, but if things turn serious, the biggest problem is the time it will take to get to a proper hospital.
I assumed from Taa's post that it was already starting to look serious.

I agree with your conclusion; please email me a list with names and locations and yes I know about Dr.
Gavin, Also, I would like to know where to get a good blood workup done. Thank you.
Where are you? Get a taxi to PP or SR right now. Royal Rattanak is the place to go in PP I think , but when we had a real emergency a few years back - appendicitis - we went to Calmette (because we didn't know where else to go) and they saved his life by operating immediately.

I don't know where you are but at least get up to a big city - fast. You can die of not-very-much out in the countryside.
Do it now. All the best.

Oh I just see this post. I wonder why you are so quiet long time, taabarang. Hope you get better soon.
Btw the Royal Ratanak is changed the location. I think this one is the old address. The new one is big and better. It is along Russia Blvd which is near Tuek Thla market.

I hope he posts again with an update. The symptoms he described may be from the infected leg, but could also be the symptoms of other serious afflictions unrelated to infection, such as stroke. IMO, he needs to get to a doctor ASAP.

No PM from you, taa - just checked my inbox. I'd like to catch up if you're in town (although we're in BKK until Wednesday).

If you are having a stroke there is nothing over the counter to buy, and if you don't get to a doctor there'll be nothing to do but pray. The fact that you don't have a fever is quite concerning. Infections are normally accompanied by fevers. Please, in so far as it is possible, get to a doctor ASAP. Even a local Cambodian doctor (a real doctor, not a para) could probably spot the difference between infection and something else.
