VERY old Buddhist Statues and Mirrors. Help needed.

Have questions or resources regarding Khmer Culture? This forum is all about the Kingdom of Cambodia's culture. Khmer language, Cambodian weddings, French influence, Cambodian architecture, Cambodian politics, Khmer customs, etc? This is the place. Living in Cambodia can cause you to experience a whole new level of culture shock, so feel free to talk about all things related to the Khmer people, and their traditions. And if you want something in Khmer script translated into English, you will probably find what you need.

Can someone please tell Me something anything about these statues and mirrors.

I found them from the abadoned old houses from the Hill`s of the Sihanoukville. From front of the old police station.

Now they are in Finland with Me and I`d like to know what is the history of the place and the statues.

Ask a Grandpa or Grandma or if you read Chinese tell Me what they are saying.

How do you know the house was "abandoned"?

They aren't Buddhist, those are Chinese animist guardian spirit figures, called Neak Ta here. They aren't old either.

FFS what or who gave you the right to take them. The locals have strong beliefs in these spirit pleasing things. Very upset if they know they've been took out of the country. Have you seen any ghosts in your house lately?

They are valuable for ME. As I loosed My Chinese one wish necklace in the fight, I found out these in refund. I did not looking for money.

BUT someone also said it might make locals really sad or even HAPPY who knows.

Maybe it did. You see. I got deported , putted in the immigrationg center and blacklisted for the 2 years.

Spiritualistic world is really strange, I can see. Hard to say, how long, I been involved. I visited some old abadobed spirit houses in Thailand too. Strange places.

It was "abandoned" because no-one was living there. Just big mess. It was beautiful. Go check it out.

It`s in the hill`s behind the new police station. I am talking about OLD POLICE station if You know where to looking for.

There was just signs of the fight between police and maybe "rebels". Like old police shoes, nightsticks in the two pieces, like a fight.

Actually I pulled two full packs of the stuff and donated rest to the

business behind the new Chinese casino, just because they cold not sleep. It included more spiritualistic stuff.

Really interesting.

Does anyone know what are the signs in the mirror so I can tell if this is real ? Any Chinese experts?
