Thursday November 9th is the 70th Anniversary of their independence.

Are they planning a big one? I bet they'll be a serious firework display. I noticed the scaffolding being erected on Riverside yesterday, is this in aid of a party on the 9th?

yah barang-tk got it right. i thought every english speaking country did it that way.
anyways i added the days while trying to see if i could fit in more 3 day weekends for the employees.

thinking of giving them american holidays off for the months that don't have any.
Feb : Superbowl
July : Independence Day

but that leaves August : ??

Just give them the Irish "August Bank Holiday" in August. Sorted.
