No, little salary(I'm going to call you that ) It is not Vietnamese, it is a short form(i.e.) of come on, which is a form of encouragement or sometimes disbelief. Here is an example of the latter.
You, I am a millionaire.
Me, Aw c'mon why do you call yourself little salary if that is true. Dak kluen e?

Sc's "ding, ding, ding" is the imitation of a bell Samouth. He means my understanding is correct.

Thanks for all your help lok taa. I really wonder why can't he write easy English, so that non-native English speaker like me will find it easy to understand.taabarang wrote:Sc's "ding, ding, ding" is the imitation of a bell Samouth. He means my understanding is correct.

SC is a fairly gifted writer who likes to play with language. You have a good point, but the history of this forum is centered around foreign contributors. The presence of Cambodian participants is fairly new; just have patience and ask questions like you have been doing.Samouth wrote:Thanks for all your help lok taa. That is fair enough. Writer SC. By the way, i should invite more of my friends to join in this forum and we will use our language the whole time. It is like making another small forum in this forum. Samouth, you are a very welcome addition and contribution to the forum - personally I hope you stay a long time - but as a forum for westerners it's not always going to be immediately easy to understand for non-native speakers if English. I wasn't ignoring your request for an explanation, I just hadn't been on the forum for a few hours. You're welcome to PM me any time if you'd like to understand me better.Samouth wrote:Thanks for all your help lok taa.
