khmer Artifacts

Have questions or resources regarding Khmer Culture? This forum is all about the Kingdom of Cambodia's culture. Khmer language, Cambodian weddings, French influence, Cambodian architecture, Cambodian politics, Khmer customs, etc? This is the place. Living in Cambodia can cause you to experience a whole new level of culture shock, so feel free to talk about all things related to the Khmer people, and their traditions. And if you want something in Khmer script translated into English, you will probably find what you need.

He is well known in the opium world, Steve Martin. Sadly he died a while back. He wrote a lot of local guides here and the surrounding countries for lonely planet and others. They are highly inaccurate too. lol. must of wrote them while he was high.
I happened to meet this guy 20 years ago in Bangkok. Didnt know he had passed. Wonder what happened to his extensive collection?

That's really cool, he lived in Bangkok for many years. I met his friends but a year after he passed sadly. His collection, he donated it to the University of Idaho.

But you do eat a lot of retard sandwiches.
