The main Flowers that i know are...

ក្រវាន់ - Krovan

រំដួល - Romdoul - Sphaerocoryne affinis

I think the Krovan and Romdoul are from the same family as they are very similar

ចំប៉ី - Champey aka Frangipani - Plumeria
Image

ចំប៉ា - Champa - Magnolia champaca

these 4 flowers are all pretty, beautiful smelling flowers often used to describe women in all their beauty, especially in songs...

as far as colours go, i dont think theres any much meaning afaik

Hmmm, not really the answers I was expecting, but thanks for the enlightenment of native Khmer flowers.

What I'm really after is:

If someone is sick, is there a colour associated with wellness and getting better ?

If you made someone upset, is there a colour associated to say sorry/apologise ?

If you want to wish someone good luck, such as at a wedding, is there a colour associated, maybe white ?

If your in love, I assume the colour red is used ?

etc...etc...

I understood your question Manga.

I'm not sure about colours, but i know there are certain types of flowers that you shouldn't give to people in Cambodia because they bring bad luck, I'll try to remember to ask the missus.

I know giving frangipanis, or even having the trees on your property is considered bad luck by some because they attract bad spirits or some shit like that.

Some people other think stuff. Seriously dudes.

Most white flowers are ok (but some are used for funerals) and even pink. You’re safe with roses and lilies.

Hey Jamie, asked the missus again about Frangipanis, apparently it's only a Sino-Khmer superstition.

My wife has heard the same folk "wisdom" about frangipanis attracting evil spirits. All I know is that there is a local farmer who has a plot with hundreds of them; it's one hell of a cash crop. The petals are sold by the kilo for distillery into perfume so many trees are required. Maybe he's paying the evil spirits off.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.
