Few questions about Cambodia

Have questions or resources regarding Khmer Culture? This forum is all about the Kingdom of Cambodia's culture. Khmer language, Cambodian weddings, French influence, Cambodian architecture, Cambodian politics, Khmer customs, etc? This is the place. Living in Cambodia can cause you to experience a whole new level of culture shock, so feel free to talk about all things related to the Khmer people, and their traditions. And if you want something in Khmer script translated into English, you will probably find what you need.

10 points. This IS the view from the best western bar in the central Cardamoms ! (Yeah, I know. It's the ONLY western bar etc.)

Wait, what? Western bar? When did that happen?
Today, tomorrow and for the last 18 months. Aven's, on the hill next to the wat. Accommodation, food, cold beer. Working in conjunction with Lim at OSaom community based eco-tourism.
Wanna see some elephants?

I'll have to grab some beers there next time I'm around, then. Are you the owner?

My wife is. Early days here yet, still a lot to do but the beer is cold, the view is great and all are welcome.

If you can get to Mondulkiri which is a highland area you will be nice & cool, was there in july a few yrs ago & no AC was needed, fantastic super red soil with lush vegetation, locals say it was much cooler before major deforestation in the area too
