Decemeber/January is decent, its lovely here at the minute but still get the odd storm,
but even then earlier this year it pretty much rained every day up until April never known it rain so much

You're right, it does look like the same mountain. Temperatures can drop to 14C in the night time and early morning in the north east of Cambodia in Dec/Jan. Not often, but under 20 degrees it feels cold especially combined with wind chill and humidity. Especially if you are sleeping outside or in a wooden bungalow.
