yeah Nung Aey, its the "អើ - aey" which means = yes, that's right, O.K, I agree,
its an informal agreement particle, where as Baat/Ja are just Acknowledgment particles

Apparently ឥឡូវ (alauv) means 'now'.
My experience is that when someone is coming to our house ឥឡូវ, or we're leaving ឥឡូវ, it really means 'some time in the next couple of hours'.

Is there another word for 8? A bit like the 7 = M'pul, which is completely different to the official word.
Heard it when playing cards and it completely threw me. Much like the same way every person seems to have a different word for Jack, Queen & King

the only card game i play is the 10's game (always forget the real name as always drunk) where you have to make sets of 10s, and the more reds you have the more money you win etc.
