I'm not really good in telling anyone's name meaning, but it is good if we can know the meaning of theirs. Especailly, we won't make many mistakes when we write their names.
For example, Chan means moon or Monday, but it also has different meanings if we write it different way. It means a name of fruit which is fragrant or another meaning is a name of a fragrant tree. The name can be Channy, Channa, Chaneth, Chanol,... etc.
Cambodians believe that naming children is draw the children's fate. We think two syllables of name will bring us good luck in working. We don't like to name flowers to baby girls because we believe that the girls will be unfortunate. We don't name Ka Key or Sor Piny to girls.
Note don't call any girl like this if you don't want to see Dr. Lolz

My name was changed by my aunt while my dad was in Vietname because my aunt thought that my given name was not nice and she thought it would make me so nasty girl.

Your aunt changed your name from Little Moon to Little Salary? Does she want you to live a life of poverty?

Reung Ka Key is the story of an unfaithful woman. Does Sor Piny have a story too?

Yes, Ka Key means female crow.
Sor Piny means good girl, but old people said in the story, she was a butterfly girl which had many men. I don't know which story.
