"Panha" means knowledgeable, right?

And I thought "Kalyan" means November, no?

"Kakada" means mountain?

[I put a question mark on all of these, cuz I wouldn't bet on them being correct.]

Wow! Pretty comprehensive list. Add in compounds like Bopphatevi - flower goddess and that should cover most names.

Ok, what's with the families who call all their kids similar names: I know 2 brothers called Bunsey and Bunsaing - not sure about spelling - sisters called Samourne and Simone, Dawy and Dany ??

(And according to my translation, Sam-mouth means "a great, large or big mouth". Wise choice of name IMO . )

Tola - scales-libra-october. There must be a list somewhere, I'm too lazy to type them, even if I can remember them all.

Good question. However, i am not really sure how to explain it. For example, you might meet people named Channa and his or her brother or sister might named Channy.

Channa and Channy, so the same part is Chan and when you know that the first part of their name is the same. You probably can guess that they are sibling.

Pisith vs Pisey

Saray vs Sarum

Dany vs Danay

Visuth vs Visal

lol, i don't have big mouth. So this translation doesn't fit.
