The IVY LOUNGE

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

Despite the month and a half, and despite your point being valid, is it not evident therefore, (assuming Aussie English teachers are even remotely useful in the Queen's English), that it might not be the owner's work and perhaps that of a local-hire marketing manager? I still think that the message isn't lost, and the focus should be anywhere other than the grammar and spelling. I'm sure that the majority of us Westerners are equally as bad when our Khmer (or other foreign language) skills are put to the test.
Maybee I have to elaberate a bit. I don't life in Phnom Penh so I am not in the posision to get the latest news overnigt.

Hafing said that, you're not in marketing, are you? When atracting potential customors languge does metter IMHO.

Not bad English for an Australian.

I could see some TEFLers showing up to this place identifying as female, perhaps even dressing the part.

I suppose language might matter, so that you don’t accidentally tell potential punters to f*** off.

You are required to carry a gun
but you are still not allowed to rob banks
but if you do, and you are basically an OK guy (as well as a bank robber), they will let you off real easy.

A great long-read about a bank robbery by a very inept, but basically OK guy, in Svalbard
and everything else you ever wanted to know about this place you had never heard of before
from the illustrious Outside magazine.

The Bizarre Bank Robbery That Shook an Arctic Town

Important travel advice for your first holiday in Svalbard

Happy to go the full Eastern, Jerry.
As long as you Olde Worlde people go/stay back on the other side of the planet where you and your olden days thinking properly belongs.

Then all of us here could get on with it, creating the next epoch - instead of spending so much time just trying to "manage" you intruders.

:)
Australia will be the cradle for a new epoch of humanity???

Australia??
