Secrets

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

Never been in there. And judging by the surprising complete lack of replies you have got, it looks like no expats have been in there either!

I just posted for a bit of moral support mate!

Sounds on a par with pontoon and a shed load cheaper than a Khmer club. Not everyone in PP is here for 50p beers. Some of us would rather pay 75 cents and geta better class of sexpat to talk to

I quite like Secrets. The Filipino band is very good but the sound booms and echoes in the vast space. The staff are divided into greeters (in flouncy red skirts), bar staff (in dickie bows and braces), waitresses (in white tops) and hostesses (in oddly matronly-looking red and black dresses). There is also a mamasan pushing hostesses towards likely-looking customers. The cheaper end drinks are much more expensive than normal but the higher end (such as premium beers and wine) only a little bit more. The customers are mostly Pattaya trippers (behaving a bit badly) and Chinese (looking at their phones). The Secrets logo is omnipresent, on the staff uniforms, on the countless tv screens and on the walls. It is corporate and safe (which is why the Chinese like it).
