Secrets
Re: Secrets
And the salary men who are creating the drugs labs and voip scam operations in PP! How the hell the chinese don't know who these thugs and criminals are when they get here are beyond me. Chinese is supposed to have complete control and none of these arseholes has a criminla recors? China is using Cambodia as an open prison, much like the uk used to use Australia! The Last Word wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 8:42 amThey are targeting the salary men not the Chinese construction workers like in Sihanouk. It's the construction workers in Sihanouk that's creating all the drama therepczz wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 7:40 pmhang on, how can it be safe if the chinese are there? have you been to snooky lately. [Mod Edit: Take it down a few notches. Thanks.]armchairlawyer wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 7:34 pm I quite like Secrets. The Filipino band is very good but the sound booms and echoes in the vast space. The staff are divided into greeters (in flouncy red skirts), bar staff (in dickie bows and braces), waitresses (in white tops) and hostesses (in oddly matronly-looking red and black dresses). There is also a mamasan pushing hostesses towards likely-looking customers. The cheaper end drinks are much more expensive than normal but the higher end (such as premium beers and wine) only a little bit more. The customers are mostly Pattaya trippers (behaving a bit badly) and Chinese (looking at their phones). The Secrets logo is omnipresent, on the staff uniforms, on the countless tv screens and on the walls. It is corporate and safe (which is why the Chinese like it).

Re: Secrets
One of better clubs in PP in my opinion. Here 5 months now. Always enjoy visiting secrets. Polite staff and good looking girls. Great to enjoy with Ur friends
Re: Secrets
I was there on Saturday. It is a nice looking place. Wasn’t very busy and had a band that was too loud and the Filipina wasn’t the greatest Celine Dion imitator (they all seem to think they can sing like her). The drinks are more expensive than the bars just outside.

Re: Secrets
The band in Secrets has two female singers. They are both good. Probably better when not singing that kind of song.Sallibotz wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2019 10:55 am I was there on Saturday. I prefer to go on non-weekend nights when the band is allowed to play some songs they like. The lead guitarist is excellent. Does a great solo on Another Brick in the Wall and on Cocaine (Eric Clapton version). And the male vocalist does a ripping Hard to Handle (Otis Redding version).
I like it when the waitresses dance, they move so well. The hostesses look kind of stiff and uncomfortable in those red and black dresses. Personally, I find hostesses are more attractive when not in a corporate uniform.
You're right, the drinks in Secrets are expensive, although many bars in that block have overpriced drinks, draught beer in Route 136 is $2.50. At least in Secrets the $3 draught is nicely poured and into a quality glass. For better value drinks, st 130 is preferable.
