pontoon -- no more freelancers?

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

You should not do drugs so you can feel when the Pontoon bouncer thugs beat you up better. Then you meet and hug and everything is fine again and nobody mentions it years on.

Anyone got the video?

$8 will mean they have some skin in the game. None of them will want to leave empty handed. Ok, enough double entendres...

The only trouble with pontoon, for me, is it's all happening about 3 hours past my bedtime. The last time I was there I was falling asleep at the bar.

Why can't PP have an equivalent to Soi 6 Pattaya, a bit of afternoon fun, so that decent people (sort of) can play and not have to stay up late and wake up the next day with a hangover from hell and the equivalent of jet lag?

Walkabout closing was 5 or 6 years ago, nothing to do with new policies . The reason of the closing was that the Landlord trippled
the lease! Which I regret since there is no replacement for a jo :o int like the Walkabout! Times they are changing....

Maybe at the end of the night they'll agree to have sex with you for $8.

Entrance used to be free except on Saturday after 11-11:30 pm, when the $8 admission charge was good for a drink. What exactly has changed?

Mongers tip: sometimes less than that. If you are outside pontoon or in that area from 4am onwards there are girls who will go with you for free or some nominal amount of money: all they want is a decent bed for the night rather than their shared, noisy, hot little room way out in some dodgy area of town.

4 AM? How can one be still and and kicking at 4 AM? Do all that and then get up at 5 AM for work or the market or start the new day?

Or am I just ancient and ready to be put into a wooden box?
